Bicycle tours: GPS tracks and pictures

GPS tracks and pictures from bicycle tours shown in “Google Maps-like” dynamic maps. These “slippy maps” have been created with OpenLayers, an open source JavaScript library allowing to display maps from any source.

Combining Google Satellite as base layer and OSM as transparent overlay gives you an impression about the recent opencast lignite mining activities in the Niederlausitz:

Clicking on the "+" in the upper right corner of the map opens a menu to switch between different online mapping services (OpenStreetMap, GoogleMaps, Bing). The GPS tracks are shown as red lines, the location of the pictures are indicated with circles. A click on a circle opens small previews of the photos taken in that area.
